Linguistic Repertoire

Little Zoe,

You have long mastered the words "buh bye," "mamma," and "papa." At 15 months, you are going through a linguistic breakthrough, each day adding new words to your arsenal, and blogging about every new word is not practical. So I decided to create this page to keep track of your linguistic development. Each time you say a new word, I will add it to the list below. I listed the words in reverse order (first one is at the bottom), so I can add new words to the top of the list. I also grouped the words together if you said them within a few days of each other.

19 months
Zoe, at 19 months, you are using speech more and more to express wishes rather than name things - a lot more than previous months.  Some examples: When you want to play in your room, you hold my hand and drag me to your room, while saying "room, room." Or if you want me to sit on the floor and play with you, you hold my hand and pull me off the couch, saying "down, down."

Chickiin, Opeen, Olives, Chocleet, Up, Down, Room
All done (when you finish eating or brushing your teeth, you say All done. up until recently, you used to say Dada Dada)
Pink

18 months - Double words!
